[MENTION=110737]wind_zero[/MENTION]; There's no escaping Re-chan. You'll see her even with 3BB 3SS setup. You'll face her 3 times but final run only 2 times it seems. I never bother.. to clear this :( Just a few tries is enough.

I'm still waiting for her to appear in events as boss escort. :) She will make players wanting Air Princess back.

20.3cm no2/no3 use 20.3cm no2/no3 to improve past +6 right? Is that so i will improve few to +6 like the quint torp.
What's about the type 1 AP? Do it need 2 type 91 to improve before +6?
I'm improving 1 Littorio/Roma gun and will upgrade to kai on Friday. Next i'll improve 20.3 no2, quint torp and 381 kai. It seems a good strategy :D.

Some testing from 2014 was that 3shiki didn't work for support, so no reason to think that apen would work either. That said, the test itself wasn't particularly rigorous so could be worth more testing.

5-5 is pretty fun though if we ignore the annoyance of kiraing so much shit. I almost look forward to clearing it more every month.

I'm with ecael here. Only go to +6/+7 for those equip that requires it's own to rank up and aren't easy to come by. ex. 20.3cm (no2/no3) eats it's self for +7. MAX is for those that have nothing better to do-

Quint torps pretty good for event time, one 6 one 7 should be enough for most. I still don't like the pasta guns personally. Apen shells are terror to upgrade though, eats 91s then 1s, practically impossible to keep up.

Please prepare tons of resources if you're planning on clearing it. It won't be fun otherwise.
Btw, we need to kill the boss 5 times instead of the usual 4 in other EOs. In the end, it is not worth doing unless you're in for ranking points.

It isn't even that rng heavy nowadays imo, also resource usually isn't a limiting factor unless you are trying to brave it with 4fbb2cv or some kind of shibari play. Having the proper equips, ships and setups to back it up is more important.

If you are doing it for senka without yamatos and well leveled and equipped support and all, it won't be worth the resource and bucket consumption. Much better off doing 5-4 spams for that. 5-5's real purpose is medal tbh, since they are going out of their way to start going after blueprints more seriously now.

But the pasta gun kai is good. Only -1 acc but give very long range. When equip on FBB/BBV, the 46cm has higher damage but may decrease more acc than the pasta kai. For me i think those 2 are the same.
Because i don't have Yamato class and i have only 1 46cm so i plan to have all 4 pasta gun kai in the next event ( if can, i want +6 ). With those 4, i can equip 4 BB and fill the rest with: 2 41cm Fusou and 2 41cm max. There is also the AP for BB so i'll improve 20.3cm for CA/CL. Well i need to carefully planing if want that much >.<.
Anyway, i'm curious which set gun you equip on your FBB/BBV, ecael. ^^

Pastas on pastaboats, 38kais on beerboat, some combination of 35.6, 41 or 46 on Kongous depending on where I am going.

Very long range is pointless except as a way of artificially introducing attack order on first round. I can't find any specific numbers atm, but even if 46s penalty is greater, the base acc difference seems to be putting the two around the same for Kongous. So no real benefit running pastaguns except for pastaboats is how it looks atm.

Hmm... you have the point. 46cm is still great!!! I still hesitate between improving pasta gun kai or 41 ( they both use 41 ). That's why i choose to upgrade first. Do you have any suggestion?

Don't think it really matters but probably 41s under the logic that Japanese boats are more likely to be used for random pathing. My priority would probably go to torps since I feel like we'll get hit by another Dyson spam soon.

Of all Kongous K2, I prefer Haruna K2.
I first interested in Kongou cause of her character and that epic pose.
With K2, everything changed especially that silly looking monkey ears and face that turn me off.

Still Kongou-class K2 doesn't feature much changes and the most noticeable are their..

I somehow much prefer how the armament was represented in Kai Ni than the original, as for the Epic pose, well to me only Kongou and Kirishima was really "posing", Kongou retained her pose but just at a different angle, Kirishima have a complete new pose. I much prefer the head band they have for their Kai Ni form than the original one myself XD The ear does look a bit odd though I must admit...

With new the 4-5 map, 5-5 can go sh8t itself.
Isn't really fun at all with them Ta-class and Ne-class a.k.a the Evasion tank CA.
Pre-pre-boss (node E) south route is a NIGHT node!! 2x Ta-class, 1x Ne-class is enough to fk everything up. They are also in Line Ahead.
Abyssal Harusame and AganoNaka is in 4-5 too. I'll wait for Marshals to provide tips.
