during the whole week, our internet has been going off in the early afternoon til about 9:30 in the morning That's over 12 hours! T~T

Soo just going to remind people~ We're not going for bad/normal/good endings with choices. If we do, the main good story will be straight without choices. (honestly.. choices are just annoying x-x)
The only case I'd use them is for extra side stories that are unlocked in a sequence. Even then, we'd have 2 endings at least or 3 at the most depending on the character. If this idea sounds right, we can have a part 3 for the main characters in which there will be choices~ The player should know enough about the characters to know what to pick, but I'm not sure how different the branches should be, how many choices etc. I'd be silly to have a few decisions branch, and then the others just there for no reason x-x.
Anyways~ The only reason we'd need choices is if there's different sides of a story to tell with one character, or to answer "what would happen if__." There wouldn't be bad endings exactly, but if there were, it would have to be just as good as the other endings.

The thing about the old guy is that you cannot hint at all whatsoever what part he plays in the story x-x People will be guessing who he is very often, so there's certain roles he'll be playing that are similar to other people, but not the same.
