Well it is a comedy more than anything else. Super great main character.
Hmm I can't think of anything else that gives me the same feel. What kind of stuff do you like, since you just took out around 70% of anime with those conditions?

Well I find many types fun. I will give u few examples of different genres I liked, so let's say: Steins;Gate , Requiem For The Phantom, Mushishi, Welcome To the NHK, Darker Than Black, Wolf's rain. Just gave you some of the different styles. I can also give u my MAl if u wanna check out more closely?

So good (serious) story and plot and no those fluffy moe stuff.

Aren't a few of those shounen? Haven't seen them all. Well as a simpler way to see what I recommend, you could simply look at what I rated high on my MAL and see if you like the genre/whatever. :)

gnight nana, i think it's both a good and bad ending, like they could have had maybe an extra season of them destroying the syndicate if it didn't end like it did, but i feel an ending like that is good in it's own way as if to say they are now at peace and don't need to go on if you know what i mean

Guess I've never seen Darker than Black, but from what I've heard it has shounen written all over it.

Unfortunately good serious plots are not so plentiful in my watchings. Even the ones I would call good have lots of issues, most of the time.

yeah the second season kinda took a turn for the worse but i still liked the second season would probably rate it 5.5 interest dropped because the main character is more of a side-main character... he's important but i feel like the new character is the main focus, and certain things happen to other character's which lost some interest but it was still interesting but it's down to the individual to make that call
