This is depend from the last hiragana-chara at verbs - e.g.: Oshieru (Teach) will, if to "te" format turns to oshiete - But is a verb with a "tsu" ends - e.g.: At Mattsu (Wait) will to Matte... Well, verbs are under 3 groups shared: Unchangeable-verbs (e.g.: oshieru); Changeable-verbs (e.g.: mattsu and shinu); and Irregular-verbs (e.g.: kuru (TL.-ed: come - what in "te" format to kite will)...
