Sakura Bitmap, impeccable art, but sucks plot... the plot is just so bad

Twin Tail Heroine~. That sucks about the plot being crap. Though it's not translated so I won't be able to tell.

Mm... anyone heard about "For The Morning Sun" or "Asahi no Tameni, 朝日のために" before? It's a visual novel.

There's no sexual content. The heroine is like a mirror Hatsune Miku. It was made by some people on an English forum(?) and it's very short. The art wasn't that bad. I liked it.

Happy birthday, Cocona.

I admit I didnt know what ZFS was until I looked it up but it definitely sounds like what you need with so much storage. Some of those features sound pretty nice (protection against bit rot for example) but most go over my head for now. If I had some extra cash Id like to build a separate machine to try out different stuff like that (without the hassle and danger of messing with my main PC.) But anyway, 24 HDDs and you want it to be quiet? Good luck with that... Id be more worried about heat.

ZFS? It offers advance stuff that I want, such as if I put an SSD, it turns out a supercached level 4 that really speed up everything. such system would costs a lot (+1000$), there's deduplication too but I wouldn't use it alot. It can correct and verify data on the fly, everything else is reallly nice.

Yeah you don't need ZFS if you have less than 8TB of storage I think. Anything goes beyond 8TB, ZFS benefit a lot

I use low rpm drive. What cause the noises would be the fan of the PSU and in HDD chamber

5400 or 5900 rpm, you don't want to use anything higher than that since these drive most of the time do nothing. Lower rpm means less heat, less noise, = less electricity, also lower rpm means less dying drive

@Checkmate, I was looking into getting a 2TB drive and a 500GB drive to expand my "empire" and I noticed a lot of the newer drives have some really bad reviews... I found a couple of promising candidates but I was curious, what drives do you use in those sizes? I acquired some extra money I wasnt expecting so I might be getting those HDDs a lot sooner than I thought.

cliff-hanger : they ended at the most important and exciting part

*rages, gg better come out with the subs and fast, must re-watch*

So how's your birthday Coco?

@Alexon

depends on your setup I guess, what kind of setups you gonna play? General rule of thumb is avoid Seagate and choose Hitachi for the best stuff. But Samsung is decent according to the reports. I use WD, 0 problem

Tanjoubi omedetto Coco.

You are legal now?:P

@Check: It's around 6 AM you know... the day is still early. Not that much will happen anyway.

@Kou: lol yes, I'm legal and able to watch hentai without the whole "But you're a minor!" crap. Not that it ever stopped me...

lol. I just when on a site that generates slogans and typed Cocona and got this: "Cocona is your happiness." Cocona!!!!!!!!!!!<3

Its true, though... if you understand what is going on in porn, then you are old enough to watch it.

@Check, my needs are general storage. Light use but mostly a dump for the anime I download after I watch it. I hadnt considered Hitachi. Ill have to go back and look at those now. Thanks.
