So it means the heroine it's just a Yes-man type which enables the sex which is the worst kind of heroine on any hentai.

Also what it's the point of being "girlfriend" of the MC when they barely interact? To me NTR it's more enjoyable when you feel there is a strong bond between the couple that is being eroded away by the immorality, if the heroine falls so easy at the start the game is as good as over.

LTB tried to pull a mystery ntr, like I said before they have been doing not many great titles for years, but I think the Mahou Shoujo wasn't that bad if you put the silly magic girl plot aside.

Sorry guys, but is there anyone who can give a brief summary of Marina 1 + 2 - story wise? I did play it with ITH & TA but as you guys know machine translation ain't that accurate and tbh I didn't get the story later on, lol. If this is not allowed feel free to PM me.

Would really appreciate it, since I would like to play the upcoming marina game with some knowledge x).

I will try my best to summary them but some of the details may not be too accurate.

1. Kenji (Husband) and Marina (wife) are married couple with a little daughter, Saki. Kenji had fantasy about lending his wife to other men for sex (netorase).
2. Kenji and Marina discuss it together and Marina does not reject the idea.
3. They decide to talk to a local supermarket clerk, Hiroto and find out he is a college student and recently broke up with his girl friend. They decided to go for the netorase experience.
4. Marina and Hiroto meets at the motel and have sex for the first time. Marina learns that Hiroto suffers from premature ejaculation and they run out of condom and lets him creampie her since she is on birth control pill.

NOW moving onto the LTB game its not great, again I keep saying the best part is the FIRST half before anything is "revealed" but after that I agree she kinda just goes with the flow.

I will add though this is actually somewhat true in japanese offices, culture is very important and not like any other office place. So in this sense her "going along" with it I see as typical of a new person at a new company - I'm not saying she couldn't have had more backbone - but in some ways this reminds me of one of my friends who works in HR at a large japanese company.

When they hire they look at the way applicants present themselves, everything from dress to body language and how the enter the room - and I don't mean in the way thats accustom to any other interview - I mean CULTURALLY. If they find a girls dress is too "loud" they might not even interview....stuff like that.

Very japanese in this sense...that said the game isn't horrible, I enjoyed it for what it was but its pretty generic too.

That said in general I think its hard to "get" a good story for these games put together - especially NTR.

How many eroge games can you count on your hand that are "great"? I can count my top 10 easily for me - but most studios usually only produce ONE or two amazing games so what I'm saying is most studios can't usually reproduce that success. Its like artists and greatest hits...they might produce a lot of "good songs" but usually you remember them for 1 or 2 amazing songs right?

I'd put a spoiler on your post, not everybody has played them here and a lot of people are just discovering them with Marina 3. Heck still lots of people discovering NTR games! I even forgot about that last line your wrote for Marina 1 about the "asking if he can"...

My only complaint and this is gonna seem weird is the artist seems to have forgotten what real breasts look like...I haven't seen this many "tennis ball boobs" or "too small to droop like THAT" in game for a while...not distracting but artist needs to look at some real breasts I think to remember what they look like for his next game.

I was looking through the CGs, and I really have to agree. To be honest, I've been disappointed with a lot of the art for recent NTR games (Gentle Sasaki excluded; he is the master). The artist for this one can't seem to draw small tits (he draws big tits just fine, looking at his work on other games), and has goofy looking faces sometimes. The artist for ANIM's last two big animated NTR games has problems drawing midriffs and is limited when drawing profiles. Lilim's Dearest Blue doesn't look bad art-wise, but like I said a few pages back, it looks really quite generic. This might not be a big deal for a lot of you who don't really care about art style that much but for me, these are first and foremost porn games, and since it's an inherently visual medium, I pay a lot of attention to this stuff.

These are all big games too, and there are so many amazing h-manga artists out there, so it makes me wonder if a lot of great artists would just rather not draw for eroge. Does it not pay as well as manga serialization, I wonder? Or are the higher-profile artists more expensive?

It seems the only NTR studio that really consistently features amazing artists is ORCSOFT (Sanagi Torajirou, Orutoro, Sumeragi Kohaku, Mizuryu Kei), although Atelier Sakura have gotten better in this regard.

I do like Marina series. I had my wishes for 3rd game because I liked it. I think i said I did not like 2nd one as much as first one which upset some people here...lol

I think NTR is so general these days, people consider netori games as NTR games. I like netori games as long as it features wives and younger men. For example, one of my favorite game is Lovemilf. Wedding ring play, wedding dress, little bit of cosplay, the only thing it was missing was pregnancy.

Was I right or was I right? I kept saying Oji was a villian and Marina was basically manipulating them all. This is basically the story I expected lol...

I actually kinda thought that was the way this was gonna go based on Marina 2 as I could tell she was kinda getting tired of netorase, but she liked sex so went along with it.

I think they did a great job pushing Marina to the edge slut wise without "breaking her", I know its been commented she went too far but Marina has always kinda been a slut. I mean she basically agreed to netorase almost instantly so no surprises there - most women would take "work" to agree to that. Still I think the prequels will do more just to prove how slutty she is - that said anybody else notice every partner she has is the "best"? lol...

I liked the ending, it was the ending I expected and hoped for. That all said...and I know this is dark coming from me - but I kinda wish it finished with her pregnant but open booked enough as to leave the father unknown.... Maybe I really just wanted to see a pregnant Marina CG more then anything even if it was Kenji (imagine how big her boobs would be! lol)

With all that said...and I think M3 was well done - I actually liked Marina 2 a little more between all 3 (except I hated her outfit).

So lets JUST imagine if they DID make a Marina 4 - how that would work BASED off the "events" of Marina 3? I was thinking how they could justify a plot that makes sense that would open them up to netorase again - AND what or WHO would that include as to make them do it? Personally Marina would probably kill kenji at this point probably for suggesting it - but considering how well part 3 sold they MIGHT make a part 4...

I think it would be cool if there was some kinda fan disc for this game...like a dark side. However considering how small AS is I doubt they'd make it...

I gotta say I was a little confused after playing it because I didn't know how to "unlock" Marina's POV as it not done like other AS games lol...

I think one of a gaiden could be great if the go "what if scenario" with the parallel world off of 3rd game. I still have not played 3rd game yet but from the demo, I know Marina tells Kenji about ojisan visiting in Japan from the beginning. What if she does not tell Kenji and goes full netorare? And Kenji will finding evidences of her cheating one by one but have to silence because 1. he likes being netorared and 2. he was the one introduced sex with other men to Marina.

I am little disappointed that they will do Marina's high school days as a gaiden... But it's just my opinion.

Well I didn't play Marina 3 yet, since I can't get my hands on it xD. But well having her pregnant would kinda end the "general Marina series", because that would turn the game into netorare, because I doubt (atleast I hope, lol) Kenji wouldn't like that.

That means the series can only move on to something we already know, like she will stay with the baby's father or just keep it as a secret and maybe tell Kenji it's his.

I agree with the "punishment", I mean you can't pull off those things in 3 games and let it still be a happy end xD.

If Marina Gaiden is a story told by Marina herself to Kenji, it could be really cool.
Seeing the popularity of the series, I think Gaiden will introduce new characters for a probable Marina 4.

I would like personally that their daughter is the heroine of a game to her alone. I imagine Saki already in high school, having a boyfriend and they found a video of Marina with the porn actor. Saki then would investigate it and little by little, knowing the truth, the young couple would try to see how it feels.

At last, everything is possible !

She could have been lying about the pills (shes good at that) and this is hentai not reality so anything could happen. Its a poll based on what you WANT to see happen anyway and besides just because she was on birth control in part 1 and 2 (or so shes says) doesn't mean she needed to be on part 3 especially if Oji talked her out of it - or replaces the pills with fakes!

Again this was an opinion poll about what you WANTED to see - not what actually happens! Play along man...so what do you WANT to see if you had your choice?

Well it sold well enough to crash a-class servers where it was released first so thats a good sign. Over on 2ch the Marina series thread has over 5000 posts now, everybody seems to have liked Marina 3 for the most part but fans aren't excited for the prequels based on their theme.

However based on the plot and ending of part 3 I seriously doubt their would be a sequel unless they REALLY explain a good reason to allow it to happen based on the events of Part 3. I know its been a great success but part 3 DOES feel like an ending. So how WOULD they make 4? What plot could allow it to happen?

If they did make a part 4...I like the idea of the prequels introducing somebody from her past for a Marina 4 as it would give them more meanin...however based on Oji from part 3...I'm not sure how that would work out and wouldn't they just be repeating the idea of her hooking up with past lovers? I like the idea more that maybe something from the prequels INSPIRES part 4.

Also while everybody seems to like Marina I think the story and how it was TOLD overall was what was most attractive - not Marina herself who is kinda average in appearance for eroge games, and she looks too boyish for the prequels, I wish they had lengthened her hair for them. Seems more realistic too (girls shorten their hair as they get older, have it longer when younger).

That all said with the prequels and any possible sequel to 4 (or regardless of) I just realized that the Marina series is probably one of the longest running "series" I've played in a while in eroge...

Anyway my point is it would be nice if they started a new series with the same "happy netorase style vibe" of Marina but with a different couple. Still I do LIKE Marina but I'd just like to see more games in this genre (netorase) and told from a loving couple point of view despite how netorar-ish it becomes, rather then just have ONE game in the whole genre that explores it.

Come to think of it and yes this is a question - is there any other netorare or netorase games that come even close to the plot of Marina series? I can't think of any...

The hypnotism is ONE very specific route (and my least favorite) and is literally selected by ONE choice you made very early in the game (I believe its not the first time, but the second time in "his" office) and that path is very linear. The other paths diverge a lot more and are a lot more interesting in my opinion - hypo path just seemed unnecessary.

but from what i get (again correct me if i am wrong), the main girlfriend is being brainwashed by the company.

like she doesnt like it but due to the power of persuasion she ended up liking getting dicked by the "sachou" (imo one of the hottest scene in the game).

again, i am pretty much still lost on this game, maybe LTB is just not my cup of tea, not much voyeurism, the mystery was kinda weak, the ero scene was crazy long with lots of text (which some of them are really really hot, the sachou sex scenes are all hot imo).

is there any good ending though? (like real good ending similar to marina 3). i though it is all a lost cause because the moment you find out about the whole netorare, your girlfriend has already change her hair color and act indifferent to the protag.

Once you start down a "route" you begin to see familiar faces, honestly the beginning was my favorite part...I think if you end up on a "route" you don't like your gonna waste a lot of time (aka like the hpyno route wasnt my thing). My suggestion is save at the first choice as your "main save" - then kinda play "skip" briefly down one route path - if you like who it involves and what it involves then reload and follow that route. Or chose again...

Otherwise you might get stuck on a route you DON'T like and spend like a day playing it (aka hypno lol...really made no sense to include that path based on the games very premise to begin with...)

imo this is why i have love hate relationship with LTB, once you are stuck in a route that you hate.. you practically wasted so much time (the routes are pretty long imo) and in the end of it, i just dont feel like going on it again.

They have a 100% scene completion for you if you too lazy to grind through the ending but apparently there is a ending with the MC.
