Yes, i agree. But i feel VN\eroge and NSFW works, for example on SFM (Source Film Maker), have grown a lot in western countries in last 5 years. There are tons of amateur western VNs, some are eroges and some are not, tons of artist doing their stuff through parteon. Take SFM and Overwatch for example millions of works inspired by it.

Amateurs SFM groups like Animopron or Studio FoW do stuff better animated than Bioware games :8, and a lot of people like and support their work. Also much more amateurs translations patches came out, even studios like MangaGamer releases more stuff.

Sadly yes, governments or ignorant people may try to suppress some stuff in the name of "Think of the children" and such. But they cant suppress people needs to express them self to create such things or consume things they like, and more and more people are getting into it. Lets be honest, once you go Hentai you never go back.


I still want to stay optimistic and believe that in a future sex related stuff (especially arts and games) would get more freedom.
Of course there are also fears that all this SJW, feminism and PC bullshit will ruin everything and we will be pushed back to Dark Ages. But when (IF) it happens, i would be an old man and that would not be my problems any more, i would keep my eroge collection hidden like Nazi SS veterans hide their uniforms\medals\weapons. And die one day thinking about all the great eroges games i happily experienced in my life.

It's obvious eroges are profitable worldwide, but like said, it will take a while until stigmatization of erotic content fades away. My country is quite conservative, but at the same time lax regarding laws.

In US-based games you can have torture, gore, and mass killing, but a nipple is a scandal, that's just the way it is.

Where you are right though, is that there is a growing market around porn games in the west, and it seems it's getting further than the usual simple "BIG BOOBS AND VAGINA ZOOMS" we had until now, with some sophisticated erotic play and even advanced fetishes like mind control or sexual training.

I finished the Doujima (the experienced guy) route in the new ANIM game.

The scenes are nice, she lies in a lot of moments, the MC is very crazy about this netorase situation, but in the 2 endings of the Doujima route there is no true netorare, she is not stolen, these endings are quite happy actually. I laughed a lot when the MC cumed twice just from hearing that she was pregnant (but in the end the children was from the MC).

Now I am just at the beggining of the Naoya (young guy) route, the personality and attitudes of Yoshino are very different from the Doujima route, she is much more provocative and horny, she teases Naoya and the MC a lot, I think I will like this route more

It's possible that the upcoming 3 DLC scenes though will

This way anim makes everyone happy. Those who don't want it simply don't download the DLC onto their game but those who do want it have the option to add it on (though at an extra cost possibly... unless it's free)

I mean IMO it would've been better to include it all in the game from the start but there's always a bunch of fans who get butt-hurt too easily and if it 'ruins' the game then they might not want to buy it or would write dumb reviews badmouthing the game to maybe hurt sales

Or maybe I'm wrong and the DLC was always planned as an extra way to bring in more money if it is being charged. Maybe this is the future of eroge games for better or worse.

Hm... with all this info coming out now, I'm not sure about playing the game now, i spoiled myself and checked gallery on exhentai, and although there are some potentially very interesting scenes, i dunno, something doesn't feels right to me. I ll probably wait for those planned DLCs.

23.03, 27.04, 25.05 - those are dates on game site for DLCs, right? Like a new chapter for each character? So we should get "complete" game by summer. I also hope there would be an easy way to buy them digitally or get them by other means ;)

Personnally I really like netorase games, but at least when the netorare risk is present... I just finished Dojima rout and while I found it pretty cool, I was still a little disapointed. In my opinion, there was an INSANE opportunity for this route to be a hardcore netorare.

I appreciate it, personnaly. As for now (I'll start the Naoya route soon) that's a really good Netorase game and Anim's writing skills are clearly here. ^_^

If the three DLCs could add more Netorare content, that's would be epic though.

Is anim so of course, still as much of a good game as it is i am a little dissappointed it doesn't have real ntr T.T, i really get why they did it since a company that delivers the same everytime goes down no matter how good that something is, i am crossing my fingers for the dlcs to be ntr, and BIG, i can forgive DLC policies but only when the dlc are worth it, like the case with Skyrim, Fallout 3, 4 and new vegas, the mass effect trilogy, dragon age, borderlands, the witcher 3, etc. But i still haven't really seen an eroge dlc worth it, at least not from any of the developers we pay attention to, maybe other vainilla games have DLCs worth it?

Speaking of the anim game, can someone upload the crack on mega, mediafire or zyppyshare? I only just now finished downloading the game from torrent but can't download the crack.......in fact i am actually crossing my fingers one of those 3 works right now........

Everybody is playing latest anim games while i still haven't finished all routes and POV of Homestay. I think this one is quite long compared to Kabe no mukou 1 or Tsuma no Biniku o Ijiru Chichi no Futoi Yubi. Maybe due to 3 POV and several branching paths. Although so far ( 3 routes finished), the last part of the game from wife's POV is not as great as the middle part. The h-scene in the ending is mediocre, especially when scene between heroine "fall" and MC "discovery" is so great.
I wonder if the daughter's POV is as exciting as wife's. MC's POV is so boring, pretty much "work - message /call cycle".
