Report for 1st try E-5 easy: Surface Naval task force
Fleet 1: Nagato-Kongou-Hiei-Haruna-Kumano-Kaga. Kaga full fighter + saiun.
Fleet 2: Kirishima-Isuzu-Kitakami-Yudachi-Yukikaze-I58.
Route: A-C-E-H...

Nothing special in node A although i face Naka-chan. Node E, i face 1 yellow Ta, 2 yellow Ru, few girls have minor and medium damage. Node H: Aircraft Carrier Demon + 2 Wo. Sh*t!! I can't get AS. I-58 get heavy damage so i withdraw.

I'm trying Quick Respond.

2nd try: Quick Respond. I-58 get heavy damage at node A ---> withdraw.
Fleet 1: Nagato-Kongou-Akagi-Kaga-Souryuu-Hiryuu. All CV equip best fighter in higher slot. FP is about 220.
Fleet 2: Replace Kirishima with Haruna. Other girls are the same.

3rd try, Quick Respond, replace I-58 with Kumano. Still the same route. Get AS at node H but Kongou get heavy damage in air combat then i have to withdraw.

Now i plan to try node B 1st and pass maelstrom. (total 6 radars in the fleet)
Sh*t i forget that CV is slow ship...

4nd try: nothing special, heavy damage at node A.

5nd try: heavy damage at pre-boss >.<. Damn my today luck.

Edit 2: 6th try ( quick respond ): finally pass maelstrom, node F seem easier than node E. I finally reach boss and manage to kill her in night battle :D. All thank to Akagi, Kongou and Yukikaze fight well. ^^
That's all for today. I guess i'll level up Naka and try node B. The enemies in southern route seem easier than the northern route, at least for the 1st and 2nd node. With 6 radars in the fleet, i pass maelstrom and lost 19 fuel. After defeat the boss, fuel and ammo bar is 1.

Thing about going through the maelstrom is that you have reduce chance the enemy will miss you (apparently the miss chance also taking the amount of fuel you have left into account as well), that's why a lot of people try to avoid it by taking a submarine, Akashi or the more popular choice now, Katori. They all fix it to the A-C route which always 100% avoid maelstrom and enable you to bring 2 CLT (which is previously if you bring more than one CLT you have increase chance of Maelstrom is what people found), but Katori is popular because she can also hold Fleet Command Facility (allow you to retreat 1 red ships provided you have a green destroyer and no other red ships, and yes it would only retreat 1 red ships, if you have 2, you need to retreat immediately!)

I'm repeating a recipe for AP Shell, but they use steel 3000, and only two appear.



obtained Type 98 Recon Seaplane (Night Scout), Searchlight, and Star Shell.

Sounds about right.

I walked into the boss node without realizing it was Boss Final form, my full fleet was pretty much full HP other than my Flag Katori (she doesn't do much damage anyway so I'm not too bothered). My fleet came out pretty much full red. I suppose it wasn't that bad provided that I didn't have any boss support expedition, it would have turned out a lot differently if I did I say. But now I battle with the RNG Kami-sama herself...wish me luck my fellow teitoku, if I don't return, please tell Yamato I love her ;_;

My closest attempt so far, with a full sparkled boss support expedition. Its more or less how much your Kanmusu want to focus the boss in NB, its close to impossible to even get a S clear during Final rotation from what I can see.

Is there a way to make aircraft carriers attack at night?

No, the only CV that could attack at night at the moment are Abyssal Kantai.

I don't think fairness is the right word when you're facing a 500 + 400 + 400 final boss rotation...So yea, why would Dev be fair, if it is fair then this game will be rather easy and not very challenging.

No luck today so I guess I'll let my ship rest and try it again tomorrow.

Well, The method to start from B which I know...

2) Naka or Agano is included in the first fleet.
3) All of the first fleet are comprised of high-speed ships.

I'm preparing for the E-5 attack now. Probably I'll aim at the A-C route.

I don't really know how it works since FBB has speed high, CA has Fast. I tried to put a CA in flagship and remove FBB in the 2nd fleet but it didn't work.

Well i don't thing the B-D route is that bad. With 5~6 radars and Quick Respond, you will pass maelstrom with only 19 fuel lost ( when return home, there is only 1 fuel bar left ). Node F has 2 red Wo and doesn't have BB, since node E always has 3 BB. Those yellow Ru can send even your FBB home in 1 hit, if they don't miss >.<. I thing if i can avoid Light Cruiser Demon and Ru-chan, E-5 is just like E-3, only has 2 nodes to deal with.

The right method is...

1) "Nowa-Mai" (Nowaki and Maikaze are included in the second fleet.)
2) Naka or Agano is included in the second fleet.

Might your friend meet the following conditions?

- If the first fleet includes more than 3 CV, it advances to A.
- If the second fleet includes more than 2 CLT, it advances to A.
- If the second fleet includes more than 1 SS, it advances to A.

Thanks for your advice of the route. I want to examine it again after beginning a challenge for E-5.

[OFF TOPIC] ;_; I cried so much because of how much memory it brings back, every single last installment of the SRW never fail to impress me with the amount of classic quote from classic mecha

And I don't seems to have much luck today in terms of E5 sortie. ;_;

^ At the start before shelling but after the opening Air Phase, Torpedo Phase and Support expedition phase, this is the best support expedition I've every had throughout my E5 conquest.

^ Kitakami-sama once again be my MVP, she was the MVP throughout the event, I think whenever she is in my fleet she have sunk the final required boss to clean the map. I thank you KTKM-sama! (I think that comes to something like 3 boss map clear kill KTKM have this event)

Please note that the composition you see here is the final boss take down formation, pre-final boss, I had 2x 10cm AA gun with Fire Director + No.13 Radar Kai, both CLT would be equipped with 15.5 Secondary, Kaga would have full Green instead of 3 Green 1 Yellow. The rest remain unchanged. If you have any question I'll try to answer them to the best of my abilities, and to all Teitoku who are still trying their best out there, I wish you my utmost luck!
