See, the thing is, I only have 1.8k fuel left and I'm still clearing E-3.

I have 6k/12k/12k/2k and 21 buckets.
I've been stuck on this map for days.

I used the Quick Response setup for E-3. AP shells on all three BBs. Good fighters for AS. And Yuudachi + Shigure with searchlight, star shells. Kitakami for the deathblows. Sendai with Night Scout.

Depends what you difficulty you're attempting, I've done the event in Hard Mode on every map already. You can find my E5 hard mode completion a few pages back. In terms of bucket and resource you're very much on the low side, which is not a great thing. If you're attempting this in Easy then just pray for good RNG, or else you might not be able to complete this within time.

E-5 easy is pretty much a walk in the park with lvl 70+ ships while medium is pretty much the same enemies as hard

One last sortie since i'll be leaving tomorrow and not returning till the 25, this is all or nothing.

Yea unfortunately Hard Mode is full on Yamato class + Bismarck and Taihou. If you have those 4 is not too bad, but I did it with only Musashi, so it is achievable, just depends on how much RNG troll you I guess. Try to avoid that maelstrom node at all cost if you can, it makes E5 a lot harder if you don't in my opinion. Stock up some resource and bucket, if you clear E4 soon then E5 Easy shouldn't be too bad.

meh.. i don't like this development. now i have to try, too. but i don't have two CLTs. I only have KTKM. No Ooyodo or Katori available, but I have Naka at 48. Haruna sits at +80, Kongou at 78, Kirishima at 61. I don't have a fourth FBB, can I use Mutsu instead?

If you're talking about E5, you can actually just sortie out a level 1 Katori just for the fixed A-C route. Just use the same set up as mine except without the 15.5 Secondary (remember to set her as Flag so she get flagship protection as well). Yes you can use any speed BB in the first fleet, but 2nd fleet is FBB only (so Kongou, Kirishima, Hiei, Haruna and Bismarck only). As with CLT, well try having a CA if it let you, if not a high luck DD with night cut in set up should do the trick. If you don't want to sortie out a Level 1 Katori, you can used the SS in 2nd fleet method, that also will fix the routing to A-C only. Though please be aware that Katori is only really there for fixed A-C route + Fleet Command Facility, if you don't have Fleet Command Facility then it is no point sortieing out Katori, for she does no damage, you're better off with a SS in 2nd fleet for the A-C fixing routing.

That was my original intention to bring out all the lurking TTK and so during event we can have another place of resource where we can share out composition/finding/joys together other than just the English and Japanese Wikia. Since we can also insert spoiler tags so we can put a lot of images which is far more useful than reading a block of text saying what you have to set up for what maps.

There are a lot of admirals who cleared one CA and one CLT. (2nd fleet)
FBB don't need four. I used Mutsu because my Kirishima was low level.
If you want to start from A, you are all right if you include SS in 2nd fleet.
If you want to start from B, you are all right if you include Naka in 2nd fleet.

If I had Ooyodo, I might cleared it more easily.

Tried this setup first. Went to the maelstrom, but it's ok. My ships got medium damage, though. Went to boss and beat her. Kitakami is a beast. (lol) Haruna was heavily damaged after boss fight. Will continue to use this, until it fails. Might switch out Yuudachi or Haguro for I-8 lvl 36 then.

Haven't managed to get a clean kill at the boss node for a long time. My DDs aren't giving me any crits with their torpedoes. And it's probably too late to be switching to easy

Then I started casually farming E-1,2 and 3 while still restocking. Kitakami is very useful for boss fights. She is insane. Most of the time she deals the deathblow for me.

I'm hoping expedition 5 will give me some glimmer of hope. I'm not sure if I should risk it and restart on easy mode.

What was your fleet for E-3? None of my DDs have that cool animation with the torpedo thing that give you crits anymore. It's bloody annoying.

This was my setup. But I gave Mutsu and Haruna AP shells and Kongou a radar. Hibiki also had star shells. Yuudachi had 12.7cm(B), 61cm(O2)Quad, and that high angle thing. My DDs also didnt really cut in a lot. Kitakami did most of the work for me lol.
