No, I would not recommend starting E4, considering the amount of time left (2 days depending on where you live). If you want to farm some ships then go E1/E2 of your choice :3

Ah, you forget, I am still very low on fuel. If I get desperate I might cash a little for extra fuel but I don't feel like it...

None of the ships that I really want from drops have come yet :( Notably Tokitsukaze, Amatsukaze, Noshiro, Akashi, Takikaze, Maikaze, Taigei, Urakaze, Kumano, Zuikaku, Akigumo, Asashimo, Asagumo and for E-4 which I've yet to attempt I hope to get I-401 and Unryuu

Because I obtained Ooyodo, I might cancel cruising of E-2 on hard. It's too difficult really. I'm mysterious myself why I was able to clear it...

hmm... As for the necessary time, it would be up to the number of buckets and your luck. Because I saved buckets and resources for E-5, it took two days in E-4.
I don't recommend the purchase of the fuel very much. The usage of the right money will expand the home port.

On easy I spent about 10k fuel. My ships were pretty low lv though.
If you have an Agano she will take you on the southern route, where enemies are somewhat weaker so you can reach the boss almost undamaged.
If you have enough buckets, and some AP shells it's doable, considering you have better ships, probably some that have enough luck to do a torpedo cut-in.

I used this composition.

2BB 2DD 2CV (include a slow battleship). BFHJK route.

It took me 7 runs in only 1 day ( 6 left only boss and the last kill the boss ). I can't remember how much resources i used but it's not that much. If i well remember, that day, all my resources increased.

E-4 enemies aren't hard. Plz wait, i'll do another E-4 farming now, i'll take some ss about the enemy for u.

I forget to take ss for node J because chit chat >.<, srr. Node J has 2 Wo elite, 2 DD and 1 hmm CL/CA.
Note:
- Boss node is the final form. Normal run doesn't have the Ru and only has 5 enemies.
- Boss + 2 Nu are fixed. FP 183 for superiority.

My personal opinion:
- If you have night battle equipment, equip your DD, if not then equip with best torpedo you have ( full 3 slots ).
- It's good if you have AP shell but if not then equip with 2 red weapons + 1 yellow + recon planes. Cut-in 130% is more effective than double attack 120%.
- You don't need to kill boss every run, just drain her HP as much as you can and kill her in last run with support expedition + sparkle. It will safe your resources.

I cleared E3 in less than an hour. In Hard Mode. E3 is a walk in the park lol xD E4 is by no means hard either, just RNG seems to troll me a lot in E4, I had no problem with E4 until Final Boss rotation, that's when all hell break lose. You won't see it in Easy mode I don't think, but Hard Mode had a 130 hp Ru Flag, the first time I've ever seen them. Also because the route I took (the Naka-chan) route I couldn't take any CV, so obtaining Air Superiority was close to impossible, so my fleet just get destroyed by the Ru Flag during day battle most of the time. For Naka-chan route you also need AA cut-in, or else you'll get fucked over hard xD
