KanColle Headquarter!

I didn't really have a 60+ fleet at that time. think i my fleet was anywhere between 30 and 50. only my mutsu or haruna could have been over level 50. guess i was just very lucky?

off topic: world of warships looks kind of cool.
Bunch of people I know are playing both wows and kc at the same time, makes for some real confusion when names just pop up and no one knows the context.

I think that's about normal for most? I was just on the unlucky side, that and I was struggling through summer event at that point while trying to advance.

wished i started playing sooner. missed a lot of events. only participated in the last two.

How quickly do people clear Bw1? I rarely clear it and when I do it's usually near the end of the week so I don't have the time for the other weekly sortie quests that get unlocked afterwards

i don't really do bw1, but when i do, i clear it towards the end of the week.

hmm... 1-1 (make Kira(with Sparkling) to some fleets for the expedition), 2-3(Orel cruising by SS fleet)
I need half of one week for the achievement.

How often do you go on sorties? Number of sorties per day that sorta thing

Bw1, the quest with 36 times sortie? I think the best way is sparkling ship and send to expedition. :D

I usually clear it around Monday/Tuesday morning EST, so like 2 days or so with dailies and 1-5 kira as regular tasks.

The ship that didn't sparkling makes a sortie to 1-1. (3 fleets*6 ships=18 ships)
The number of times is different by a day. I have not counted it... :(
repeat these expeditions.
Exp 5, 21, 22, 37

Hmm, I see around 75k battles fought total on stats, so if I started around late July 2013 and putting each sortie to around 3 fights, that puts me at like 40 sorties a day?

Feels like an oddly low figure.

That's a... very large number. I'm pretty sure I go on under 20 sorties a day. Maybe even under 15.

I don't usually sparkle my ships. It's annoying work. I smash someone on PvP for a sparkled fleet, if I absolutely need it. Is it really worth it? Even if sparkled fleets give a good chance at great success in expeditions.

I work IT so there is more than an abundance of time on the computer. 40 feels small when you have a workday of clicking at boats.

It really depends on how you go about it and what your goals I think. If you are working regularly and throw out an expedition like 2 times a day for 4~8hour stuff, a fully kira'd fleet lasts like a week? So 3*3*6 54 sorties at 1-1 or something. Repeat that for a month and you have an impressive stockpile to do hard mode event or LSC with. But if you aren't looking to do those things or don't mind taking your time about getting LSC ships, why waste the effort?

In my case I use 1-5 for senka gain to keep top 500 rankings since I'd rather do that then run 5-4. So in the sense that I have to sortie to keep up anyway, it is worth the investment enough to kira. But if I didn't care about staying in rankings...probably would just go with the above method that I described for resource management.

Oh, far as the resource gains vs used goes, obviously need to pick the things that make it worth, but kira is a good way of converting fuel/ammo to baux in that sense. It takes forever to sustain LSC carrier rolls otherwise.

If I sparkle a fleet, then it is only for the 37/38 expedition. I guess I will do the same for my expedition 5 fleet. Might as well run expedition 21 instead. My last one is for expedition 2, so not worth the sparkling. lol

37/38 with kira turns into steel overkill fast so eventually you'll still end up at 5/21 or 4hr expeditions.

tbh the only time when I'd recommend mandatory kiraing would be for people rolling lsc carriers. Baux takes forever even if you abuse the hell out of subs.

I don't mind having an excess of steel. I can dump it on LSC in hopes of Yamato, Musashi or Bismarck. I haven't tried for Taihou, yet. So my bauxite is just sitting there. But yes, bauxite seems the most annoying to farm out of the four resources.

I guess it's convenient for you then. I really only have the night to play the game.

And, since we're talking about expeditions, I'd like to ask (or rather, confirm) this with people here: What are the best expeditions for resource gathering? Right now I'm looking at expeditions 5, 21, 37 and 38, and maybe 4 for the furniture box. I'm also looking to amass buckets, but that probably required sparkling my ships for Great Success.

Maybe a more relevant question would be: How do you guys manage your resources such that even with daily consumption of resources, you're still gaining more than you use? Only just have I gotten past the 30k mark, which was about were I started from for the last event. As for buckets though, I still have 200 fewer than what I started with.

I do exp 2 for buckets. Overnight i do exp 21, 36 and 37/38. during the day i usually do 2, 5 and 38, but you can replace 38 with something else.

The simplest solution is to use less and only use subs for as many things as possible. As for expedition, it depends on the rate that you can play at, but ultimately the simplest way is just to look at the wiki's hourly gain rate charts and match to the highest grossing ones that follows a similar time span that you can check the game at. If the expeditions are long enough, you should considering taking the effort to kira to guarantee great success.

Bucket wise though there is nothing that beats just taking an entire weekend running expedition 2, but you can take the great success for some guaranteed items into consideration when you pick the long expeditions for over day time/sleep hours.

Thought I'd drop by to introduce myself here as a fellow KanColle player~ ヽ(>ワ<)ノ
