KanColle Headquarter!

I remember finishing 1-4 on day 1 of boating with some dd/cl/mogami fleet lol.

:sigh: I am ALWAYS out of freaking steel!
Tokyo expresses for a week, if you haven't gotten to those better get started working to them now. If even that isn't enough then 4-2 sub and trash drops.

If all that still isn't enough just stop running anything that aren't subs.
A way to level a group of destroyers "quickly"? Or should I just level one destroyer at a time on 4-3?
4-3 can do like 2 at once, 321 can do like upwards to 3 but it gets sketch, 1-5 can do 2 at a somewhat slow rate. 5-4 flag endless runs probably best speed wise, but only 1 at a time.

Because your girls reach kai ^^. Just don't do construction except daily quest ( all default ) and do exp 3.
I've been running exp 3, but I don't have the time to babysit the 20 min timer and I'm only getting 40 steel from it...

I'm still throwing myself against the 2-4 wall...and I only have I-8 and I-168, one of each, I haven't been very lucky in the sub dept.

What kind of pace can you play at? If you can afford to grind a lot then do 1-5 for goya then 3sub 2-3 and scrap drops. If you can't beat 2-4 at all with conventional means you can even try to roll rare dd until 4 subs and cheese it.

If you can only do expeditions at irregular intervals then expeditions 18 and 20 are pretty good steel gain for a medium period that you should have access to by just clearing through world2 expeditions.

Yeah exp 18 and 20 if you can't sit. But exp 3 is still high hourly rate for steel.
But when you beat 2-4 most of your "steel eating" ( BB, CV ) are kai and you don't need to farm steel except for LSC or repairing ( in event ) :D.

The advance in the heavyly damaged(大破) state may let KanMusu sink. They don't sink if it's minor damage(小破) or moderate damage(中破).

1-4 is the first barrier in KanColle. You must challenge it by the strongest fleet which oneself has.

Do you have CV(Aircraft Carrier) or CVL(Light Aircraft Carrier)?

Do you make various airplanes with development?

Do you perform various quests?

You get carrier Akagi if you achieve Quest A-11 and B-10. At first let's prepare Akagi and airplanes. It's a course to 1-4 clear.

- A11: 第2艦隊で空母機動部隊を編成せよ! Have an aircraft carrier/light aircraft carrier and 3 destroyers in your SECOND fleet.
- B10: 敵空母を撃沈せよ! Sink an enemy aircraft carrier.

:akagin::akagi:

Well, What character is your avatar? She is very cute :P

First, My avatar is from MintCube: あま恋シロップス Amakoishirops.

Second, My kantai is built out of Destroyers,Heavy Cruisers and Light Cruisers. My flagship is Level 25 Fubuki Kai. Is it bad to have that kind of Kantai?

My googlefu tells me that she is Katori Rin from Ama Koi Syrups.

Ah~, I see. Thanks :)
I didn't know it well because I hardly read VN...

I-8!? You who got her in the early stages are lucky enough ;) You should repeat exp 20 (with sparkling/Kira).

The reason for not getting past 1-4 is probably the 2rank penalty from losing ships, I think. If you just play normally w/o taiha advance you can probably at least zerg a B out.

Frankly the first point at which you actually need to worry about fleet composition is like 2-4. Anything before can be done with patience and a bit of time. As long as you are careful at avoiding losing ships in boss battle you should be able to yasen to a B or A in most cases.

I am too lazy to unlock world 5. lol

And since when has zerg become a non-starcraft related term?

Yes, Thanks for your answer. She is very cute~ :D

Because 1-4 is a map facing the carrier of the enemy for the first time, damage decreases when you have air force. It takes time a little, but it's one method that bring up Chitose and Chiyoda on a light carrier. When you don't have air force, the result will greatly depend on the luck.

Don't think it has but I have a hard time letting go of my BW nostalgia > >

They are like all in wheel formation, even the boss. The damage modifier is pretty crap except for the preempt portion, where basic nu and wos hit for almost nothing anyway. Don't really even need to be concerned for air, just charge in with 6 non-taiha ships that can yasen and be done. I bet he would've cleared already if it isn't for the penalty for decisions with a sunk ship.

Luck huh.........I already used all my luck....I guess I won't be cancelling the apocalypse in my life for another few years

What? I didn't care about composition much until map actually have branching rules xD I did 2-4 without doing any composition research xD It was not until W3/W4 when I started looking up branching rules xD And there is a penalty for sinking ships? I haven't heard of that before, what is it about?

A long time ago xD

idk how things are now but back when I first started (so for the better part of 2013), 2-4 was considered the first real barrier to players. You can probably luck though it, but for those of us without that level of real luck it was a level that involved some painstaking composition and leveling work. Granted it might've gotten easier pretty fast when people realized how strong kitaooi kai2s were, but the original plan for the first few months of service was just to bash at it with 4bb2cv until you luck to boss and fight and hopefully kill it.

Too lazy to detail how a sunk ship on your side affects victory conditions but loosely, the highest you can accomplish is a B. A conditions fails to B or even lower if you have multiple ships sunk. The normally guaranteed B in enemy flagship snipe can also be insufficient in the case where there is a ship sunk on your side. If you just have a gauge-based B then it is practically guaranteed to be a C or D defeat.

I suppose the main part of 2-4 is just whether you reach boss or not, since it was stupid that majority of the time I didn't end up at boss, but when I did I first time cleared it.

Wait is that per sortie base or it accumulate over time for sunk ships?

Another Yukikaze but no Kinugasa.
I don't understand.
I really don't.

Hmm should be calculated on a per battle basis so nothing gets carried over time, there are some weird interactions between sinking and damecons and repair goddesses too far as B/C decisions go though.

I'll remember that for future reference ^_^ thanks for the info~

rare destroyers eh? I have enough shimakaze to make an entire fleet of them! /me runs off to create loli fleet.
:runhappy:

iirc I just did 4BB2CV(L) and easily got done with it. 3-2 was the first to really give me problems.

Was mostly a real luck thing of actually getting to the boss without accidents along the way. You can get through it with some shitty fleet in the 20~30s or you can struggle till 60+, I was among the latter no luck group and desperately doing small tweaks.

Granted since it was like early Aug 2013 we didn't know jack about the game to make efficient tweaks with, lol.

Off the top of my head that's your best chance at the subs you need if you want to cheese with subs.

I didn't really have a 60+ fleet at that time. think i my fleet was anywhere between 30 and 50. only my mutsu or haruna could have been over level 50. guess i was just very lucky?

off topic: world of warships looks kind of cool.
