2 CLs, 4 DD - Hard Mode. LOS check @ boss.
Bring Ooyodo (if have) and 1-2 radars, you'll be fine.

Test run via North route clear for E-1 Hard. Line Ahead all nodes.
Preboss node might screw you over due to torpedoes from Flagship CLT and CA.

My fleet composition (for final too with CL Demon escort) :
Hatsushimo - 2x torps, 1 searchlight
Yukikaze - 2x torps, 1 star shell
Jintsuu - 2x main gun, 1 night recon
Ooyodo - 2x main gun, 1 obs, 1 radar
Ayanami - 2x main gun, 1 skilled outlook
Yuudachi - 2x main gun, 1 skilled outlook


Retire for today, I don't even feel like doing the dailies.

Up to 3 cl is fine for E1, also south node subs don't consume ammo as usual so just go south.

Outlook is basically only for cutins, I don't think the crit increase is proven to the point that you'd want to run double attack with it.

I have no idea what to use for the extra slots so I just slap them on without knowing of it's true effects. Thanks though. :D I'm using them for stats. Might try engines and south route later.

Only badasses challenge Hard E-1 North route. :8 Me? I'll chicken out and go with south if the enemy fleet is not as bad. Sub node is a free toll anyways.

Equipment:
Yubari: star shell, searchlight, yellow gun, surface radar
Sendai: 2 red gun, night scout
Bucky: green gun, 2 torp
Yukikaze: 2 green gun, 1 torp
Ayanami: 2 poi gun, 1 torp
Poi: 2 torp, skilled lookouts.

Trying for northern route. :)

EDIT1: 1st run reach boss safely, clean kill in night battle. Yubari is heavy dam due to boss CI >.<. 2 med, 1 minor. Prepare for 2nd run :D.

EDIT2: 2 more to go...

Possibly due to levels but I overkilled recon pretty hard, Nakachan is fairly squishy so not really a problem as long as enroute goes fine. So yeah, equips not particularly worth referencing, packed the sonars just because I could. Probably could've fit in star shells instead for last kill in case for nagano but not particularly necessary. Screenshotted kcv for reference.

Thanks for recommending 3CL compo, ecael.

So, I chicken out and did 1x North Route, 4x South Route (smooth sailing).
Screw you CL Demon, her torp instantly disable Hatsushimo thus no searchlight. StarShells activated by stupid Yukikaze who CI 400+ dmg on a freaking 1 HP DD. In the end, yasen baka took the glory.

My renew fleet composition :
Hatsushimo lv81 : 2x torp, 1 searchlight
Yukikaze lv76 : 2x torp, 1 starshell
Ooyodo lv74 : 2x Agano gun, 1 obs, 1 radar
Jintsuu lv72 : 2x Agano gun, 1 night recon
Sendai lv71 : 2x Agano gun, 1 engine
Yuudachi lv76 : 2x Poi gun, 1 amatsu engine

Agano gun cause acc +3, I have enough FP to one shot E-1 mobs.

Was hoping for another Amatsu Engine. Oh well, this kaze. Keep or scrap?

Now shaking in fear of E-2 cause a Combined Fleet map means "Get ready your burner cause you'll be burning resources!".

Daily resets within minutes so not bothering until I clean up through most of that. Might just whip out a high powered fleet and overkill E2 with enroute supports.

Just cleared E2 on medium. Got Zuikaku off S rank boss drop.

edit: Just to confirm Amatsukaze drops off E1 Boss

E1 Hard cleared!! 7 runs in total, clean kill 5 times. No new drop. That's good for today. See everyone tomorrow. ^^

If you plan to use my fleet composition it would burn your ammo :/

I used a Surface Fleet so as to prevent burning too much of my bax

Fleet 1 :
Haruna Kai ni
Kongou Kai ni
Kirishima Kai ni
Nagato Kai
Souryuu Kai (Reppu x2 + Type 52 Zero +Saiun)
Maya Kai

Fleet 2:
Hiei Kai ni
Kitakami Kai ni
Ooi Kai ni
Hatsushimo Kai (AA Fire Director)
Sendai Kai ni
Shigure Kai ni (AA Fire Director)

Route taken A -> B -> E -> G -> K

All 5 kills required night battles to finish off the boss.

I'll try Carrier Task with (3 CLTs) or (2 CLTs + Maya AACI), 1 torp DD with Engine, 1 AACI DD and Ooyodo. Will be using Fleet Command.
Anyone plan on using the similar escort fleet composition as me, do share your experience.

Finished E-2 on Medium. No rare drop, but now I have Katsuragi! \^o^/

Main Fleet: 2 FBB+2CV+2CVL with lot fighters
Second Fleet: CL+2DD+CA+2CLT

7 runs - 6 clean kills. One retreat due to my Jun'you became red on preboss node.

I've just finished E1, now going on E2.
And about E2 combine fleet, which route is easier ? quick naval TF or surface naval TF ?

Going E2 on hard mode with quick naval TF, it's easier than I thought.
main fleet: 1BB (Yamato), 1BBV (Fusou), 4CV (Kaga, Taihou, Zuikaku, Amagi)
2nd fleet: 1CL (Noshiro), 1CA (Maya), 2DD (Bucky, Poi-chan) 2CLT (KTKM, Kiso)

Is it true that you can only use CVs on the event map or am I just too weak of a Teitoku and they won't let me in the map

After 2 sorties on E2 hard, I got 1 Hiryuu and 1 Zuikaku.
The drop list on wiki are: Atago, Akagi, Akigumo, Haruna, Kinu, Kirishima, Kongou, Kumano, Mogami, Ryuujou, Shoukaku, Souryuu, Suzuya, Tone, Yura, Yuubari, Yuugumo, Zuikaku
I see Shoukaku on the list... I need her to complete my carrier fleet :(

E1 Hard isnt that hard tbh just need the right ships at the right level. E2 didnt try hard... currently on E3 on hard mode.

Furutaka Kai
Kumano Kai
Suzuya

Route taken A C D E J
A - empty
C - hybrid (2-3 subs)
D - Either Carrier flagship or Light cruiser demon
E - Transports
J - Transports (1 BB in the fleet)

This took me quite a long time to clear due to the Light cruiser demon and my unwillingness to use my other higher lvl ships due to ship locking restraints.

So pumped up for my very fist event in KanColle that my mind had stopped working. I finally got the right Kantai to be able to play E-1

I just encounter that PVP bug. It feels good to actually sink a Musashi, Chikuma, Taihou and Souryuu.
Mutsu and Tone survived with 1 HP.
