As requested by Arturia, I'll refrain from quoting every single post I'm gonna reply to.
The use of {Mention} should be alright?

There is a difference between quoting smartly and not quoting at all. And is a small misinterpretation here though, that main post at the first page was mainly targeted at those who quote a whole paragraph of what someone said, but then you realise all they're doing is actually just using maybe one sentence from that paragraph, now that's a prime example of poor quoting. Here like what I am doing as I'm typing this post is I separated out the information I need and quote appropriately, so you can just read straight away which point of your post I'm referring, which makes you and others much easier to understand what I'm trying to get at instead of reading a whole bunch of useless things I'm not referring to.

However like what you did, there are times when mentioning is better than quoting, for example: congratulation messages, you can easily do it with a mention than quoting their original post (because generally people will post an image of their last boss fight or something), this get your message across without the need of you editing out things you don't need, its all about making choices between which of the two to use, and how to use both smartly ;) I'm glad you picked it up quickly.

I'm not sure whether boss node farming is that great, I tried going to boss node with my farming fleet and that doesn't work, I think I'll just stick to the 2 node low consumption farming method for now, since if I go for boss node farming I have to go for a much heavier consumption team which I kind of don't want to at the moment xD

I'm almost done clearing E-5 on Easy, since my fleet wasn't ready for Hard. I got pissed when Nagato went from full HP to red on the first node for Medium so I decided to switch to Easy instead. I'll probably clear E-6 on Easy then farm as much as I can until the event ends. I still have yet to get Amatsukaze. :/

I decided to do E-6 on hard yesterday, because I want the FuMO. This is my fleet:

I also do a 2BB, 2CV, 2DD support fleet for boss from time to time. Since I don't really know much about how to use equips efficiently I just do:

Hiyou: reppu, reppu, ryuusei 601, reppu

Shigure: 61cm quint(O2), 61cm quad(O2), searchlight
Kirishima: 2x41cm, recon plane, type 33 radar
Kitakami: 61cm quint(O2), 61cm quad(O2), kohyoteki
Sendai: 2x20.3cm(2), night scout
Kiso: 20.3cm(3), 15.5cm(secondary), kohyoteki
Ayanami: 10cm+fire director, type 13 radar kai, star shells

I didn't really have much luck with drops in this event. Only ones I could keep were Shoukaku and Hayashimo, but while doing E-6 I got the Italian sisters together. :>

EDIT: I have a bit of difficulties with E-6 (mainly random retreats after pre-boss or barely cleaning up boss node). How difficult is the last rotation on E-6? It's the boss + carrier hime, I think?

I had to bust out my Musashi in the end...E6 Hard final rotation is the only problem I've had in this event, and even then it wasn't too bad, expect some random trolling of boss not actually being sunk for a few goes, but other than that it should be OK, if you're struggling on the normal form though, then you might run into more trouble than me since I had no problem with the normal form at all, especially when I didn't even send support fleet for normal form xD One thing I'll suggest is that if you're running any cut in for the 2nd fleet then have them in the last few slots, this increases the chance of them hitting the boss mainly because the first few should normally try to finish anything left on day battle, increasing the chances of your cut-in actually hitting the boss as it would only be the boss or CV hime left by then (hopefully just boss itself)

So Roma finally decided she will turn up, went to hunt for Yamato straight after and did 3 4/7/7/2 20 and ended up with Ise, Fuso and Maruyu. Oh well, I'll hunt for Isokaze some time after I stock up some bullet/fuel again.

Choukai will be joining me in her Kai Ni form, how nice because she was one of the first CA that joined my fleet! She've always served me well, its nice to see her finally reaching her Kai Ni form. Next on the list is Katsuragi followed by Roma and Littorio whenever I get those stupid God damn Blueprints since my Bisko ate 2 ;_; But it was all worth it since she served me so well this event.

Congrats on getting Roma, you two.
You guys have fun with Choukai <3 I'm now waiting for //Ise/ Kai Ni. Holding back in using my BP for Fusou Sisters/Chikuma/All 3 Unryuus. Maybe sacrifice one for Unryuu cause SCAMP.

Well that's the only problem with combined fleet, the accuracy of ships are horrendous that you sometime feel like wtf is the point putting the BB in other than to complete the fleet xD Though you still have some good time to finish the event, about 10 days I think? Should be more than enough time.

This is what happens in 2-5 when you don't have radars with 4fBB, 2 CV. You go to IMAGINATION node before facing the boss.
I don't get the point of the detour though. Do I have a chance to go dead end from there?

To be honest I don't get it either, sometimes it would go straight from 3rd to boss, sometime it would go to the detour node with the same set up, it really confuses me sometimes xD

Something is fishy with node I's LoS requirement. My fleet have about 73 LoS.
From wiki : At least 70.4 guarantees Imagination node to Boss node.

I've so much 41cm at the moment because E4 dropped me Mutsu, E5 dropped me Nagato, E6 dropped me 4 Mutsu including the 3 from farming xD...

I suggest the Night Scout be on Kirishima and Sendai gets the 2nd StarShell (if have) since a CL won't be doing much daytime.

I don't have a second starshell though.. Moving on, it makes no sense to change night scout to Kirishima, the CI increase affect all 6 escort ships not just the ship that is carrying it. If i did i would lose the accuracy from the yamaplane. Also CLs are quite deadly in daytime with art. spotting just slightly worse than CAs because of not having 4 slots

Congratulation King and Shir0, I'm hunting Roma but no sight of her. Beside that I got 2 Nagamon and 3 Mutsu......I don't think I can grow all them up and take their 41cm guns

It took me 11 runs total, only 1 damecon used. 1st and 2nd run, i can't kill the boss. 3rd run, Ryuujou is heavy, retreat. 4th~7th, clean kill the boss. 8th~10th, the boss is in final form ---> can't kill. Last run, the 11th, Choukai shine and last hit boss ^^. L-O-V-E lovely Choukaiiii!!!! （*＾3＾）
