Sorry gais, been busy so haven't taken a look at this thread in a while. Yep, I've seen that Mewtwo-like thingy too; a friend showed me this image a couple days ago:
Dunno where the guy got it from, but by the commentary it sure looks like an official image. If it does have anything to do with Mewtwo, here's my conspiracy theory hypothesis―
I thought that the 3rd BW movie would have Thundurus/Tornadus/Landorus as the first already had Victini and the two dragons while the second had Kyurem and the Sacred Swordsmen. I mean, aside of Landorus et al, there's no legendary left from Unova. I sure didn't foresee the likes of Genesect and perhaps Meloetta, Volcarona, etc. getting their own movie.
But my sister (who, you may recall, is also a Pokefan) mentioned that she read somewhere that the third BW movie will have something to do with Genesect making Mewtwo go on a rampage or something like that. I haven't had the time and leisure to check if that's correct, but if it is, it seems too much a coincidence that the information about this new Pokemon came out around the same time as the hints that Mewtwo will re-appear in the next movie. Maybe some evil scientists attempt to recreate Mewtwo or something...

hHello.... and yes.. the 3rd movie is about genesect and the mewtwo gonna clash... doubt ithis movie will be the last pokemon movie.. because genesect is the last legendary in unova region pokedex.. for meloeetta there wil be side movies.. and she did appear in tv series.. and at october Pokemon X and Y will come out... :)

Yeah. That's why I think the third BW movie will serve a double purpose to remind all long-time Pokefans like ourselves of Mewtwo. (As far as I can recall, he only made two major appearances; when he attempted to create an army of clones and then clashed with Mew and, afterwards, when Giovanni sent a Team Rocket squadron to invade the island where Mewtwo and all the clones had retreated to.) With a refreshed memory of Mewtwo they'll serve us a Mewtwo-like Pokemon in X and Y. Just maybe...

From the spam section alone I think I gathered enough intel to know there is a new game or generation right around the corner...or maybe it was just a new pokemon, something that looked like a pink singing unicorn with the tale of kyube :P I can get the X, Y part now then.^^ some nasty cross breeding going on here....

Possibly an upgraded form of Mewtwo... although it doesn't really look stronger. If anything, it looks... I dunno... less 'mature' than Mewtwo? In any case I wonder if it's gonna get much exposure at all with Yveltal and Xerneas around the corner. Come to think of it, have any new legendary triplets been revealed yet?

According to the CoroCoro Magazine, the 'new pokemon' from earlier is actually Mewtwo's new form!
I wonder how that will change the pokemon stat-wise..as Mewtwo is already a beast.
We'll see it when the next Movie Trailer airs on 18th April :3

The original mewtwo from looks way better. But it's too early to say that though.
I'll have to wait till I see the movie to make my decision :3

Hmm, Mewtwo's new forme, huh. I wonder how they would revamp Mewtwo's stats. Like the others have said, it's already got superb offensive stats. 'Course they could always make a physically-strong Mewtwo, but the new forme sure doesn't give that impression. Or it's a defensive forme... but that may be disappointing for Mewtwo.
Then again, I sure didn't foresee Zekrom's 150 base attack and Reshiram's 150 base special attack strengthened to 170 each as Kyurem's new formes in BW2. I thought they were already behemoths. I sure would love a Mewtwo with special attack in par with Deoxys' attack forme, but that might be too overkill >_>

As about movies... yeah, I agree that the older ones were more, um, "emotional." Mewtwo's movie made me shed tears. Lugia's did. Latios' & Latias' was probably supposed to be sad, but I didn't cry or anything. All Sinnoh movies didn't (though, to be fair, the battles were quite epic, especially Dialga vs. Palkia). Victini's movies were mostly cute. Kyurem's was too shounen-ish (seriously, the Sacred Swordsmen looked totally like *rangers).

Defensive Mewtwo..Don't really like the sound of that o.o
It's offensive and it should stay that way imo.
I don't see Mewtwo getting the same level of special attack as Deoxys-A.
It's defensive stats should go down too and you'll just end up with 2 of the same pokemon in a way.
There's one thing I still find odd though.
I can't seem to like the fact that the Legendaries in the movies can talk.. I know it's telepathy but..isn't that something for Psychic types? It makes sense that Lugia could talk but Shaymin and Keldeo? >_>

Yep, I wouldn't like to see a defensive Mewtwo either. If the new forme is a defensive one, might as well not have it. It was (and still is) a top-notch sweeper, and the image of it being one isn't gonna change anytime soon.
As about legendaries being able to talk―I agree. Though, what's weird to me isn't how even non-Psychic-type legendaries are able to talk using telepathy, but more like what they say through telepathy. Mewtwo's bound to say everything through telepathy; that just fits him. Lugia speaks through telepathy to give explanations and directions to Ash & co; other than those, it doesn't talk. It actually screamed (not through telepathy) when he was strained and forced to use Aeroblast. Arceus... okay, it's essentially a god (or God, even). Zekrom & Reshiram are similar to Lugia.
But Kyurem, Keldeo, and the Sacred Swordsmen―they roar, scream, and even groan through telepathy. Shaymin even screams its name whenever it's about to launch Energy Ball or Seed Flare through telepathy. And that's not all! There's also this discrimination between legendaries as to who can talk through telepathy and who can only make noises like other Pokemon. Like, Moltres, Zapdos and Articuno can't talk at all. Latios and Latias can't, despite having guardian angel-like roles in the legend. Dialga, Palkia and Giratina―gods of space, time, and the Reverse World―can't (at least they need an interpreter to perform the "overcome the rules of time and space" ritual...).
Best of all? Far as I know, Shaymin is the only cute legendary that can talk. Mew only goes mew mew mew. Celebi only goes bii bii. Jirachi, once released from the stone, can only speak like a baby. I'm not sure about the Sinnoh ones; if I'm not mistaken Manaphy/Phione can't, but maybe Azelf/Mesprit/Uxie can? I dunno, never seen their movie(s)/episode(s). Victini can't. Not that I mind. I'm not such a fan of the B/W series but I kinda look forward to this movie. The animations looks to nice and fluid. Pretty colorful as well. And of course I'm curious to see the new mewtwo form.
