Bookstores are closing down here too. Borders died so :/
There's like only one chain of bookstores that can really be called bookstores rather than stationary shops and thank goodness it hails from the Land of the Rising Sun. Love it, it has books in English, Chinese, Japanese and some German, French and Spanish books here and there.

Same here, everyone buys e-books on their kindles/iPads now so bookstores that sell physical books can't keep up with the competition. Kinda sad, but everything is digital now.

Barnes and Noble is one of the last surviving bookstore chains here.

I actually don't like that, I like strolling along bookshelves and looking at books, and also randomly picking out a book to flip through. Ebooks take away so much

Me too, and finishing a e-book doesn't give you the same satisfaction as finishing a thick hardcover novel.

I also like the atmosphere that bookstores have.

Definitely, definitely, even with games I like walking into a store and looking at what they have rather than scrolling through a list on Steam :X

Same with me, I would rather own a Bluray movie, or a Video Game Disc then buying them digitally. Everything is just about convenience now I guess.
