Thank you fellow BIASED staff member for reminding me what kind of moderation I would expect from here.
10/10 moderation
What would I expect rofl
I kinda wanted to see that one since I'm not familiar at all with Silver Surfer, and wanted to know his backstory.

he used to be a scientist named Norrin Radd on a distant planet with a wife. Galactus was gonna eat his planet, but Norrin made a deal with him. he would be Galactus' scout/herald as long as his planet wasn't going to be eaten. Galactus gave Norrin Radd cosmic powers, which is what turned him silver and gave him the board. over the years serving Galactus by finding good planets, he became jaded until he came to earth and met the fantastic 4
I see. What types of powers/abilities did Norrin gain when he became a herald for Galactus?

Thanks for the link, he sounds kinda OP honestly lol.
Is Galactus basically Darkseid from DC?
i dunno DC very well, but from observation, it'd seem more like thanos would be the equivalent of darkseid
It does encourage people to try different things. It also keeps someone from playing the same deck forever.
A good example from last night: Before the Eldritch Moon set was released 3 months ago, someone was playing an enchantment animation deck. It won several local tournaments. Last night he played that deck, and got crushed. Time for some new ideas. :)
But magic has all those expensive cards xD It might be hard to change decks..~ Though it would get boring to stay with the same deck all the time~ I suppose this has to do with the shifting metagame and all that stuff~
Indeed, expense can be a consideration. But there are inexpensive ways to get expensive cards, ie drafts, prereleases, trades, etc. Also, there are several good deck ideas that can be built on a budget. One of my decks (if I bought the cards retail) is worth over $600, but I didn't spend a tenth of that.
Of course, if I was a pro, playing regularly for thousands of dollars in prizes, and invitations to world level tournaments, money would be no object. ;)
Thanos is who I meant. I don't know Marvel very well outside of X-Men lol.
